Happy St. Patty's Day

Layla went to school today so she did a lot of fun St. Patty's Day activities while she was there and even ate green cupcakes which she was super excited about. We made sure she wore green clothes and I taught her that if she didn't, kids were allowed to pinch her. She didn't like that at all so she was ready to wear green. While she was at school I decided to make rainbow cupcakes to surprise her with when she got home. They turned out super cute and of course they were served with green milk! :)
After our snack we headed to the bowling alley to watch Ed's brother, Bobby, bowl. His team rocked it and is now in first place! They leave on Thursday for Las Vegas and we're crossing our fingers he does awesome. Wed. nights are league nights so we weren't sure if we would be able to get a bowling lane to play in. We were on a waiting list for awhile and when they finally called our name, Layla was soooo happy, she went crazy! She was so hyper and is a good little bowler, in fact, she beat Ed, Grandpa, and I. She picks up her 8 lb. ball and throws it down the lane like a pro. Maybe there is a future in bowling for her! We had such a great St. Patrick's Day and it was made even more special because we got to celebrate it while Daddy is here!
